Mia Humphreys - Mariangela (Mia) Humphreys is owner of Creo Communications, a media relations freelance firm based in Southwest Florida. Her organization provides exceptional PR services, including media relations and community outreach, for clients in various industries such as education, environment, tourism, retail, and healthcare. Ms. Humphreys works with her clients to strategize and implement successful campaigns on local, regional and national levels.
Prior to relocating to Southwest Florida, Ms. Humphreys worked for MGH Public Relations in Baltimore. Ms. Humphreys managed some of the agency’s most memorable accounts, including Ocean City, Maryland, Weight Watchers International and Pfizer. She garnered interviews with the Mayor of Ocean City and Weight Watchers spokesperson, Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York, often traveling with the Duchess during her Weight Watchers media tours.
Ms. Humphreys is a graduate of Villa Julie College, a liberal arts college just outside of Baltimore, where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Communications. To jump-start her career, she interned at CNN at its Washington, D.C. bureau.
Ms. Humphreys has been honored by Public Relations Society of America, garnering numerous awards for PR campaigns. She is proficient in Spanish and Italian, traveling to both countries on nearly a yearly basis to visit with family and friends.

Charlotte Luer, APR, is President of LJH Financial Marketing Strategies and Vice President of
Public Relations for LJH Global Investments. She has 20 years of experience in public relations and marketing,
and has worked with LJH Global Investments since 1995. She initially worked as a partner in the firm's public
relations agency prior to joining the firm's in-house marketing team and subsequently forming LJH Financial
Marketing Strategies in response to industry demand for experienced financial marketing professionals.
Prior to joining LJH, Ms. Luer was Senior Vice President of Public Communications Inc., one of the largest independent
public relations agencies in the United States. While there, she worked with numerous corporate and financial clients,
including R.R. Donnelley Financial where she conceptualized and wrote annual reports for companies such as Fresh Del
Monte Produce, Andrx Corporation, Crossbow Ventures, Neff Corporation, Navix Diagnostix, and the International Bank
of Miami.
Her educational accomplishments include a Bachelor of Science in Journalism and Master of Arts in Communications,
both with honors, from the University of Florida. In addition to her communications studies, she concentrated in
statistics and Latin American Affairs, She was named the college's Graduate Research Student of the Year. Later,
as an adjunct professor at the University of Miami and the University of South Florida, she taught college courses
in journalism and public relations. Ms. Luer is an accredited member of the Public Relations Society of America and
has held board positions in its Miami, Chicago and Tampa chapters, including serving as treasurer, chair of the Royal
Palm Awards, and director of public service programs for the American Red Cross and Project L.E.A.D., a national
adult literacy effort. As an active member of the Junior League, she edited Tropical Topics Magazine, launched
the American Cancer Society's Hope Lodge project, and recently completed her third year as Vice President of
Communications and a board member. In Naples, she is involved with organizations such as The League Club and
Seacrest Country Day School.
Sherri Morrison, Art Direction & Graphic Designer, has more than fifteen years experience, proving her ability to produce creative advertising. She has designed ads, annual reports, corporate brochures, product catalogs, newsletters, outdoor boards, posters, trade show displays, logos, invitations, specialty advertising, campaigns, slide show presentations and web pages. Ms. Morrison was a Commercial Art Major at West Texas A&M University and graduated from Amarillo College in 1992. Upon graduation, Sherri was hired by McCormick Advertising, an $80 million agency, as art director and part of the creative team. In 1999, she relocated to Southwest Florida to work for Weeks & Associates as creative director. In 2002, Sherri took her knowledge and expertise in advertising and opened her own freelance design business. In her career, she has earned numerous national Addy Awards as well as a Special Judges Award from Amarillo Advertising Federation. Working with AboveWater to provide creative design for a beach trolley campaign for Fort Myers Beach, she earned a national Silver Anvil Certificate of Excellence from the Public Relations Society of America.
Hank Sorrick has been in the video production business since 1990 and a resident of Southwest Florida
since 1994. Over the past 13+ years, Mr. Sorrick has gained the respect and admiration of both his peers and his clients.
He is the owner of Pixel Lightening Productions, Inc. in Naples, successfully creating commercials and promotional and
educational videos. Previously, as producer, editor, videographer and graphic artist for The Naples Studio, Mr. Sorrick
edited more than 60 shows of the award-winning "Collier 2000, 2001 & 2002" as well as created the initial graphics
package and first show for "Collier 2003." He also worked on many "County Highlights" and "Close Up" features that
were integral parts of the "Collier 2000" series, including a feature on Collier County Mosquito Control District.
The feature, intended and used for educational and promotional purposes by CCMCD, eventually was accepted by and shown
on the Naples City and Collier County School District cable channels.
Working on behalf of Abovewater, Mr. Sorrick produced an informational video for broadcast to hotel guests of The Registry
Resort, and televised Public Service Announcements for both the Marco Island Film Festival and the Fort Myers Beach
Film Festival.
